Located in Saughton Mains Allotments, The Welcoming Community Garden supplies fresh seasonal food to our Community Fridge and provides a space for our community to develop food growing skills and learn about local and seasonal food.
How to get involved with the community garden?
- Become a volunteer
- Donate gardening supplies
- Welcoming members are welcome to join our food growing workshops and events

The Welcoming community garden is currently funded by Hubbub.

The Welcoming community fridge and garden are a legacy of the Welcoming a Greener Future project, which won the Ashden Award for Green Community 2021. Through this project, The Welcoming engaged over 2.500 New Scots in climate action.
