We are Hiring Evening Assistants. The Welcoming are looking for two friendly, reliable people to assist us by looking after the office space in the evenings at our facilities in Westfield Avenue. The role will involve covering reception and welcoming visitors to the building and securing the building. What we are looking for: A reliable and trustworthy person who is able to commit to 2 to 3 evening sessions mid week (Monday- Thursday 5pm-8pm)Reasonable English speaking standard (with the Right to Work in the UK)Someone with some experience and knowledge of the services we provide at The Welcoming. Theatre Production Sunday 17 March 2019 7.15pm to 8.30pm at Augustine United Church, 41 George IV Bridge, Edinburgh EH1 1EL We have a some FREE tickets for a theatre production ‘Where are you really from?’ an exploration of identity, culture, labels and stories of migration. Sharing the stories of asylum seekers and refugees living in Scotland, what label they are given and how they are treated. The play shows why people leave their home countries, what they face in a new community and how they are treated in a new country. |
